Email Notifications via Workflow v6.4.0
Another workflow issue…..I have several workflows set up that have the intent of sending a notification email to the person assigned to a project or project task if it is not completed in a timely manner. Execution is based on ‘Until the first time the condition is true’ and the conditions (All) are ‘Status is…’, ‘Stage is…’ and ‘Start Date more than days ago…’. The days ago specified could vary from workflow to workflow depending on the stage. Most of these were set up in v6.3 and worked fine in testing at the time of setup. However, now that we are deploying the project functionality (in v6.4) I am finding that it is not sending any of these ‘past due’ notifications. There shouldn't be any issues with the email itself as addressees are pulled in the same way as other workflow emails (project/task assignment notifications) that are working just fine. Are workflows processed differently depending on conditions, meaning, for example, that something that pulls in ‘more than days ago’ becomes a scheduled task that would run once a day versus against each record created? Did I set up conditions incorrectly in the workflows? Has something changed between v6.3 and v6.4 that adversely affected workflows? Again, during initial testing (v6.3) 'past due' notifications seemed to work fine, but in actual deployment (v6.4) they do not seem to work at all.
