vt730 master: Image Previewer is ***REALLY*** slow

Create a comment and add a test image, e.g. a smallish jpg of less that 1Mb.

Save the comment.

Click the image link to load it in the Preview popup. In Firefox it takes several seconds before anything is displayed in the popup. In Chrome the image builds vertically from top down in painfully slow steps.

There is obviously some caching going on because if you load it again, then it loads quickly.

Now, if you add a large image - the time takes for the previewer to work can be minutes...
