@ruben.estrada Scheduled import cron job status notification is been addressed in this commit, Please do verify. looks like
@uma.s I think the following message is a little bit contradictory:
It first says: "Please do enable Scheduled Import cron job from settings scheduler", but then the next sentence says "Your import has been scheduled and will start within 15 minutes. You will receive an email after import is completed."
I think that if the cron is not enabled, the message should be:
"You need to enable the import cron job for the import to begin. Go to settings > cron jobs and enable the Import cron job. Once it is enabled, the import will begin shortly depending on the frequency settings of the cron job."
The other thing is, that when you click ok on that screen, you are taken to this one:
Which will further confuse the user because he might think the import is running when it fact it is not. This is already reported in #1319
That screen is ok if the import takes place immediately. If it is a scheduled import, instead of the "Running..." message you should get something like: "Your import will take place once the Import cron job completes. You can close this window. When the import completes you will get an email notification." We could also notify here about the import cronjob status so that the user doesn't expect the import to complete if the cron job is turned off.
