No Detail View Edit for Documents module

I know there aren't many "standard" fields in the Documents module which are user-editable but some are: Title, Folder name, Active, Assigned To, Version. And an admin can add new blocks and fields.

So I was surprised to notice that Detail View edit is not available in Documents. Same on demo.vtiger.com
