Deprecation of Basic authentication in Office365 [October 1, 2022]

Effective October 1, 2022, Microsoft will begin disabling Basic authentication for Outlook, EWS, RPS, POP, IMAP, and EAS protocols in Exchange Online.

According to Microsoft, you cannot opt out or add an exception/policy to continue using Basic Auth.

This means that the Vtiger Mail Converter/Manager configured with Office365 (password or app password) will stop working.

Has anyone looked into this? or have a potential solution?

Should we expect the Vtiger team to provide the solution?
