In Email, instead of quantity (10 or 15) it pass $quantity.

I have created one workflow to get email notification on sales order creation. I want quantity in mail description as mentioned in attached image. But when i got mail it shows $quantity instead of actual quantity mentioned in related sales order. Please find attached images for more detail. Workflow: https://www.screencast.com/t/nw9GKXpd3
