Default values is not saving when we create the event from the quick create

Steps to reproduce

• login
• navigate to the events
• create the custom fields with the default value -ref
• click on save
• navigate the event in quick create
• create the event
• after saving navigate to the detail view and check for the default fields value
• it is not displaying -ref
