Field data is not fetching from the field while sending the mail by selecting email templates

Steps to reproduce

• login
• navigate to the email templates
• select the fields for the email body
• click on save
• navigate to the contacts
• click on emails
• select the email template
• send the message
• at the receiving end in the email body, the field name is displayed as it is
• no field data is receiving
